Sepia PhotographI'm considered detached from my family and I can't really blame them. It's a silly thing, actually; I'm a naturally social person, and to be seen as anything other than loud and boisterous is almost contemplated as blasphemy. My friends have no problem believing I'm the black sheep of the family, but to hear that I'm quiet and shy around them is a queer thought.   
Perhaps this is why that it was such a huge development that I felt something other than disdain about my family. I'm embarrassed by them, but for the life of me, I can't remember why.

Some more bitter, unconventional, terrifyingly simple than the formers - some as basic and bland as stealing my sister's teddy when she was but five, running around with blonde ringlets and shouting for her lost toy. Yet my worst mistake was not admitting, confessing, the one greatest truth of my life before he died on the cold hospital sheets; that I loved him and could never cease to love him.
